My name is Hero. My Mom rescued me when I was found wandering around in the countryside during the wintertime. Someone called my Mom to tell her that a "strange dog" (that's what they called ME!) had been hanging around their house for three weeks and asked if my Mom would take it. Of course, she said "Of course!" Mom runs "Bluff Country Canine Rescue" and she helps dogs that don't have homes find really GOOD homes where the people love them and take excellent care of them, and they get to live IN THE HOUSE and everything! Since I was brought to the Rescue, Mom had to pay the "Adoption" fee so that she could keep me forever. She says that I was worth every cent! Because I am such a NICE dog, I let the other dogs that Mom has rescued talk on MY BLOG once in a while. I hope you'll stop by often and leave a comment so I know that you visited!

I'm not sure why Mom hasn't let me at the compuiter for so long. I've got an idea, but I'll let her explain it, when she's ready. In the meantime ~ I've got some new buddies!!!
I'm so taken by Goose - what a sweet, intelligent face! When those photos hit Petfinder I'll bet he has a forever home soon! Hope all is well for you, you were missed...
Thank you Amy and Toby! I think Goose is a pretty handsome guy too but he hasn't gotten a lot of attention on Petfinder. I'll put the new pictures up tonight.
I still can't figure out why the music to the slideshow doesn't play!
Thank you so much, guys! Hero's Mom here. Sorry for worrying anyone. We've gone through some rough weeks but I think the worst is over and we're trying to relax and get back to "normal". We've got two new dogs at the Rescue and then we're even taking a break from that. I'm looking forward to some time to relax and enjoy my own dogs and the peace and quiet that we have here in the Bluff Country.
Glad to hear from you. Been worried. Please take that as - you mean a lot to us and we care not something to feel quilty about for not blogging. Sorry to hear things have been rough. That hound pup is darling beyond words! Watched the video a couple of times and it make me smile each time. And your Hero' looks like he is beign such a good big brother. Take care.
This is absolutely adorable. Thank you so much for sharing this video for all of us to see. It is lovely. All of your puppies are so gorgeous. You are very lucky.
