This one's just for us dogs!

My name is Hero.
My Mom rescued me when I was found wandering around in the countryside during the wintertime. Someone called my Mom to tell her that a "strange dog" (that's what they called ME!) had been hanging around their house for three weeks and asked if my Mom would take it. Of course, she said "Of course!" Mom runs
"Bluff Country Canine Rescue" and she helps dogs that don't have homes find really GOOD homes where the people love them and take excellent care of them, and they get to live IN THE HOUSE and everything! Since I was brought to the Rescue, Mom had to pay the "Adoption" fee so that she could keep me forever. She says that I was worth every cent!
Because I am such a NICE dog, I let the other dogs that Mom has rescued talk on MY BLOG once in a while.
I hope you'll stop by often and leave a comment so I know that you visited!

Sad Day ~ Happy Day...

Boy, today is going to be a hard one.
Mom's cleaning like a crazy lady because she's going to 'show' the house to some people who are interested in buying it, this afternoon.

Plus she has to take Cricket and Gypsy "into town" to visit with the family that Cricket met a few weeks ago.

They really liked Cricket and are interested in adopting her but Mom thinks that Gypsy might be a better match for them.

We'll see how it goes when they can compare how each of the dogs interact with the kids.
The only bad thing about doing that today is that Mom won't be able to get all the work done, that she wants to get done, before she shows the house, cuz it takes a couple of hours to drive 'to town' and back.

The hardest thing for all of us today is going to be saying goodbye to JD!

JD's Forever Family is coming to get him, after the other people come to look at the house this afternoon.
We're going to miss JD SO much!
He's been my best buddy ever since Cisco left!

But Mom is really proud that JD is going to a mostest  wonderfullest  family!  He'll get to go running every morning and camping practically every weekend and they're gonna take him with them EVERYWHERE they go!  Of course, Jessica is going to spoil JD rotten and is very excited about bringing her New, Bestest Friend home!

Mom says they don't live too far away from us so I can go along when she goes to check up on  I mean to VISIT  JD in a couple of weeks!

Even if we do get to go visit him and he isn't far away,
we're still gonna miss the BIG GOOF!

I don't have to wish you Good Luck, JD, because I know  that you are going to be incredibly happy and SO loved.  So I'll just say:  "Have Fun" and wish you and your Forever Family many happy years together!

That, and that it's a darn good thing that I've got Gypsy to play with now!
Plus, Mom says that JD's adoption fee will pay for Gypsy  to get spayed.
 What ever that means...

XOXO

HERO
