This one's just for us dogs!

My name is Hero.
My Mom rescued me when I was found wandering around in the countryside during the wintertime. Someone called my Mom to tell her that a "strange dog" (that's what they called ME!) had been hanging around their house for three weeks and asked if my Mom would take it. Of course, she said "Of course!" Mom runs "Bluff Country Canine Rescue" and she helps dogs that don't have homes find really GOOD homes where the people love them and take excellent care of them, and they get to live IN THE HOUSE and everything! Since I was brought to the Rescue, Mom had to pay the "Adoption" fee so that she could keep me forever. She says that I was worth every cent!
Because I am such a NICE dog, I let the other dogs that Mom has rescued talk on MY BLOG once in a while.

Did ya miss me?

I sure hope so, cuz I sure missed you guys!  Mom lost her camera and she wouldn't let me post on my blog all week because she couldn't take any pictures.  I'm not sure how the two are connected but I never did claim to know how the heck humans think!

I was going crazy not being able to talk to you guys because I wanted to tell you about


Her name is "GYPSY"
She came all the way from North Carolina!
She's just a pup ~ Mom says probably around 8 or 9 months old and a real sweetheart.  Doesn't she look funny?  Mom says she looks like a "Tiger Dog".


Of course, I had to tell Mom that there's no such thing as a 'Tiger Dog' but Mom just laughed and said "LOOK AT HER!"

 

I guess she does have a point.
;-)


I tell you what ~ don't let that sweet, innocent face fool you!
Gypsy is one tough pup!


You know how Mom is always yelling at me not too play so rough...Well, this little Tiger Dog Pup can MORE than hold her own!

Sometimes she even gets Sable to help her and they GANG UP on me!


NOW,  who's playing too rough???

The truth is:
I'm pretty fond of the lil' thing.
Our own little "Tiger Dog Pup".
We all like her.  Even Cricket!

 

Mom says Gypsy is a Lab/Plott Hound mix.

No WONDER Gypsy's so tough!



Although, I can still drag her around by the nap of her neck!


 I think JD is enjoying the break.

      Yeah, we kind of think she's cute too. I'm REALLY glad that she came to stay with us for a while cuz JD will be leaving soon and I need someone to play (rough!) with.

    I love Gypsy's color and you can see there is certainly a lot of spark and I think I see a hint of mischief there! She's a special girl, and a very, very lucky one to have found her way to YOU!!!
