This one's just for us dogs!

My name is Hero.
My Mom rescued me when I was found wandering around in the countryside during the wintertime. Someone called my Mom to tell her that a "strange dog" (that's what they called ME!) had been hanging around their house for three weeks and asked if my Mom would take it. Of course, she said "Of course!" Mom runs
"Bluff Country Canine Rescue" and she helps dogs that don't have homes find really GOOD homes where the people love them and take excellent care of them, and they get to live IN THE HOUSE and everything! Since I was brought to the Rescue, Mom had to pay the "Adoption" fee so that she could keep me forever. She says that I was worth every cent!
Because I am such a NICE dog, I let the other dogs that Mom has rescued talk on MY BLOG once in a while.
I hope you'll stop by often and leave a comment so I know that you visited!

Monday Mystery...

We had a PAWSOME weekend!
Mom bought us a bunch of new toys that she stuffs TREATS into.  It's kind of hard to get the goodies out and it takes a long time but OH-MY!  Is it good stuff!

My favorite toy is my green PICKLE:

There's a crack down both sides of the pickle and Mom stuffs the YUMMIEST treats in there!  Even when I get all the treats out, it's a fun, chewy toy.  I love my pickle.  At least I did.

Sable's favorite toy is the green ball:

Mom stuffs treats under the black, webbing and they are REALLY hard to get out.  Sable was kind of a brat about it though ~ she wouldn't let anyone else NEAR her ball!

Bella's favorite is a purple, Kong toy with LOTS of room for yummies.  Mom didn't get a picture of Bella and her toy because Bella hides in the bedroom with it so nobody else can take it away from her.  Big Baby!

This is Sable with the new Rope toy:

Mom say it's good for our teeth.
I don't know about that but it sure is fun to chew on.

Oh yeah ~ the MYSTERY...

Mom just gave us these new toys on Saturday night.  We loved them right off the bat.  Yesterday morning, when Mom was going to put fresh treats in the pickle, the ball, and the purple Kong, she couldn't find the ball!  She looked EVERYWHERE!  Seriously!  The house is spic-and-span clean because we had company for Easter and that green ball is nowhere to be found!  Mom even offered "the boys" (her three grandsons ~ they're pawsome!) a $10.00 reward if they could fine the ball and made a game out of it by calling it the 'Easter-ball hunt'!  I tell you what, those boys looked everywhere.  Mom said "no limits" so they were even looking in cupboards and clothes baskets and dresser drawers...still no ball!  It has got to be in the house somewhere.  Unless Sable ATE it!  Mom said that would be impossible.

To make matters even worse, last night, Sable took MY pickle and Mom gave me an old Kong toy filled with treats.  This morning...Mom can't find the green ball OR the pickle!!!

The Mystery deepens...

  3. Isn't it weird how something a simple as a ball can disappear? I sure hope it turns up!! We've gone on searches here for mine too ("find it" isn't a game I enjoy--I'm a herding dog, for goodness sakes).

Pee Ess: Glad to meet you Hero, Bella & Sable! We'll be seeing you again.

    1. Hi Sage!
I was visiting your house last night. So THAT's why Bella won't look for the Ball! She's a herding dog too!

I sure can't figure out what Sable did with that ball ~ it was too BIG to fit under the couch!

      I'll keep ya posted,

      HERO
