This one's just for us dogs!

My name is Hero.
My Mom rescued me when I was found wandering around in the countryside during the wintertime. Someone called my Mom to tell her that a "strange dog" (that's what they called ME!) had been hanging around their house for three weeks and asked if my Mom would take it. Of course, she said "Of course!" Mom runs "Bluff Country Canine Rescue" and she helps dogs that don't have homes find really GOOD homes where the people love them and take excellent care of them, and they get to live IN THE HOUSE and everything! Since I was brought to the Rescue, Mom had to pay the "Adoption" fee so that she could keep me forever. She says that I was worth every cent!
Because I am such a NICE dog, I let the other dogs that Mom has rescued talk on MY BLOG once in a while.

It MUST be Sunday...

...because yesterday was the Saturday Pet Blog Hop!

I'm "hopping" in this picture.
Well, sort of!

JD, on the other paw, is clearly NOT hopping!


I know that I complained about JD hogging too much of this blog, lately, but Mom asked me to show you this video with JD doing his newest trick:  He SLITHERS!  He lays on his back and wiggles across the pasture.  Very weird if you ask me!


Fortunately, Mom only caught the tail end of JD's "trick" on this video and then it does go on to show some nice shots of Sable and I playing...

Hero kind of left in a snit because he thinks Mom snuck too much of JD in on that video.  Poor Hero!  I think he has a complex or something...


If he thinks HE doesn't get much attention,  he should try being ME!


Then again, 
that's the way that I like it!
